The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, today continued with courtesy meetings, whereby he met with the Ambassador of Slovenia accredited in Kosovo, Mr. Bojan Bertoncelj.
Similar to previous meetings, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, received the cordial congratulations of the Slovenian government, through its diplomatic representative, on his appointment as number two in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and Head of Kosovan Diplomacy.
During the meeting, the excellent relations between the two countries, and the two nations, were reaffirmed, along with new commitments and dedications toward further strengthening such relations in fields of common interest.
In addition to the strong Slovenian support toward full integration of the Republic of Kosovo in the international community, and advancement of the Euro-Atlantic agenda, particular attention was given to expanding and deepening economic cooperation between respective countries, by organizing Economic Forums in both countries.
The necessity of accelerating the visa liberalisation process for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo was yet another topic that was discussed.
“It’s high time for Kosovo to acquire visa liberalisation, as its citizens are the only ones in the Western Balkan region who cannot travel visa-free”, stated the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli.
