Prishtina, 16 March 2018 - The Albanian soprano Elbenita Kajtazi, along with competitors from around the world, will compete in the semi-finals of the Glyndebourne Opera Cup competition in Glyndebourne, England, one of the most famous opera houses, writes KultPlus.
Glyndebourne Opera Cup - is an international competition for opera singers, which is designed to spotlight young talented artists from all over the world, offering them a prize of £15,000 and a platform for launching an international opera career. The soprano Elbenita Kajtazi is among the semi-finalists, along with Adèle Charvet, Francesca Chiejina, Jorge Espino, Adriana Gonzalez, Samantha Hankey, Dmytro Kalmuchyn, Aurora Marthens, Mirjam Mesak, Denis Milo, Jake Muffett, Diana Newman, Gemma Ní Bhriain, Alexandra Nowakowski, Eléonore Pancrazi, Emily Pogorelc, Cody Quattlebaum, Anita Giovanna Rosati, Carl Rumstadt and Jacquelyn Stucker. The theme of the inaugural competition is Mozart, and the finalists will be accompanied by the Orchestra. This exciting competition will be aired on Sky Arts. The first part of this competition will be held on Tuesday 22 March at 20:00 and the second part or semi-finals will be held on Friday, 23 March at 21:00. The competition finale will be held on Saturday, March 24, from 17:30 to 21:00.
