"Meeting Point - Vilnius" is a film industry event featuring industry professionals from Lithuania, Baltic and Europe states. More than 200 professionals take part in this event, which includes various conferences, presentation of film projects on the Coming Soon program, lectures, etc. The festival has just launched a list of film projects in the Coming Soon program where the film project 'Aga' of Lendita Zeqiraj, with the producer Bujar Kabashi and supported by the Kosova Cinematography Center, has been selected.
This program serves as a platform for the debuting filmmakers, to develop or successfully finalize their film projects. These films are presented to filmmakers, producers, agents and distributors. Three of the participating projects will be selected for screenings in 'Industry Screenings' at the Cannes Film Festival. Some fragments of these winners will be shown at the 'Vilnius IFF Goes to Cannes' session during this Cannes edition. Two other projects will receive the award from Vilnius Film Cluster for post-production of audio and video, and the special award for digital preservation and promotion.
