Prishtina, 22 March 2018 - The screen of one of the world's biggest documentary film festivals will also show a Kosovo production. Canada's Hot Docs has included in its program the "Me dasht, me dasht, me dasht / To want, to need, to love" documentary directed by Ilir Hasanaj, writes Koha Ditore.
The story of a split couple and of a lost teenager who is disappointed with life, along with nine other documentaries, is part of The Changing Face of Europe special program which comes as a new collaboration between European Film Promotion and the Canadian Hot Docs festival, the 25th edition of which will be held from 26 April to 6 May in Toronto. "Ten extraordinary European documentaries have been selected for The Changing Face of Europe" is the way the EFP describes the works of this program. An announcement on the Hot Docs official website stresses that last year's edition marked the attendance record with 215,000 viewers during the 11 days of the festival.
