Yerevan, 9 October 2018 – In the framework of plenaries of the Francophony Conference, which is taking place in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, met the representative of the Republic of Seychelles, in the Francophony Organization, with whom he discussed about finding opportunities to create new areas of cooperation between the two states and he requested for the recognition of the Republic of Kosovo.
“I was pleased to meet with the representative of the Republic of Seychelles to this organization, the Ambassador, Sylvestre Radegonde. We discussed with the Ambassador Radegonde about finding the opportunities to create areas of cooperation between both our countries. Moreover, I expressed my request to the Ambassador Radegonde about the recognition of the independence of Kosovo and establishment of diplomatic relations. In the following days, with the aim of discussing these topics in details, I anticipate to meet the Foreign Minister of this state”, said the Foreign Minister Pacolli.
On the margins of this internationally significant event, the Kosovo Chief Diplomat, Pacolli, is anticipated to have a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts, who are participating in this meeting, aiming to consider further deepening of mutual cooperation between the two countries and presenting the request for supporting the subjectivity and integration of Kosovo to International Organizations.
