Prishtina, 22 September - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj Stublla, held a bilateral meeting last night with Robert Greenway, Assistant to the President and US National Security Council Senior Director on Middle East and North Africa Affairs.
The Chief Diplomat said that with Greenway, inter alia, she discussed about the agreement reached in the US and its enforcement.
“Within the visit of the senior US delegation, led by the Presidential Delegate for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Richard Grenell - I had the pleasure to meet in a separate bilateral meeting Mr Robert Greenway, Assistant to the President and at the same time US National Security Council Senior Director on Middle East and North Africa Affairs, with whom we talked about the historic agreement reached in Washington on 4 September, and the way forward for its enforcement”, said so Haradinaj Stublla.
Minister Haradinaj stated they the put special emphasis on the discussion for the formalization of recognition by Israel and the alignment of Kosovo in the fight against terrorism.
“We discussed in particular the points of the agreement that fall under the direct responsibility of the scope of the MFAD, specifically the formalization of mutual recognition with Israel, and Kosovo's alignment in the uncompromising fight against terrorism”, said Haradinaj Stublla.
The Chief Diplomat informed Mr Greenway that Kosovo is committed to enforce the agreement reached in Washington.
“I informed Mr Greenway that the Republic of Kosovo is committed to enforcing all the points of the agreement and that it immensely appreciates the high commitment of the United States to vitalize the commitments made in this agreement, which has paved the path for economic prosperity and international development of the Republic of Kosovo”, concluded so Minister Haradinaj.
