Minister Haradinaj-Stublla held a video conference with the Greek counterpart, Mr. Dendias, whereby it was confirmed the support of Greece in concluding visa liberalization for Kosovo, as well as in strengthening the European integration perspective of the region

Prishtina, 23 September 2020 –In the framework of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, today held a video conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias.

Chief Diplomat Haradinaj-Stublla stated that her Greek counterpart confirmed the great support of Greece in concluding visa liberalization for Kosovo, stressing the need for broad regional political and economic cooperation, in order to maintain the sustainability of peace and stability in the region, and in strengthening the European integration perspective of the region.

“With Minister Dendias we also discussed about the Washington Agreement, which paves the way to a final agreement of mutual recognition within the existing borders, and which respects the constitutional order and unitary character of the Republic of Kosovo”, said Minister Haradinaj-Stublla.

The Head of Kosovo Diplomacy, Mrs. Haradinaj-Stublla, also said that during the conversation with her Greek counterpart, Mr. Dendias, it was emphasised the need to deepen bilateral relations, by further deepening the practical dialogue between Kosovo and Greece.
