Minister Haradinaj Stublla was hosted in a meeting by her Austrian counterpart whereby Austria's increased support in concluding the visa liberalization process for the citizens of Kosovo was reaffirmed

Vienna, 18 September 2020 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Meliza Haradinaj Stublla, today was hosted in Vienna in an official meeting by her counterpart, the Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.

"I was hosted cordially today in Vienna by the Austrian Minister for European and International Affairs. I expressed my gratitude for the great support of Austria in all the state-building processes of Kosovo, with special emphasis on the integration of our diaspora here and the education of thousands of students from Kosovo", stated Minister Haradinaj Stublla.

The chief diplomat, Haradinaj Stublla, stated that she discussed with his Austrian counterpart with regard to the visa liberalization process, the latest political developments in Kosovo and the Washington Agreement, considering the latter as a step towards a final agreement with Serbia, which will lead to mutual recognition with the existing borders.

"Mr. Schallenberg reconfirmed to me the increased support of Austria in concluding the visa liberalization process for the citizens of Kosovo, which will bring us even closer to our integration in Europe, which represents our place in terms of the values and orientation" stated Minister Haradinaj Stublla, who today held a series of official meetings in the Austrian capital.
