Statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla

The request of Vucic, Vulin and Petkovic to visit Kosovo, at a time when Kosovo is facing the reopening of the wound of great pain of the missing persons and the discovery of the mass grave of Albanians killed and massacred during the war, 21 years later, is an insult rather than a provocation!

Every request of Serbia in these circumstances will always get the same response!

As Kosovo's institutions engaged in clarifying the fate of the missing persons have already accepted the invitation to participate in the continuation of the excavations in the mass grave in Kizhevak, Serbia and will be there during the next week, the announced visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, is also postponed to another time.

The citizens of Kosovo, the families of the persons missing, killed and massacred by the Serbian police, military and paramilitary forces rightly ask what will happen after the discovery of the mass grave and reburial? How long will the international justice allow those who committed crimes to also conduct investigations and trials?

Serbia is not able to deal with its criminal past therefore international intervention is required in these circumstances, so that the missing justice for the victims of the Serbian genocide in Kosovo is served.
