The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, held a virtual meeting today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.
With the Saudi counterpart, Minister Haradinaj-Stublla discussed the issues of deepening bilateral relations between the two countries, and expressed gratitude for the continued support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in strengthening the international subjectivity of Kosovo as well as the commitment to increase the diplomatic presence in the Middle East.
“Kosovo is in a new historical momentum of deepening diplomatic relations with the Middle East and today's virtual meeting with Prince Fahran Al-Saud confirms our good relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are committed to increasing bilateral, but also multilateral communication and cooperation, to advance our common interests for stability and security in the region. We are committing to reciprocal official visits and we are looking forward to reaching bilateral cooperation agreements, especially in increasing security cooperation as global partners in the fight against Daesh/ISIS”, said Minister Haradinaj-Stublla.
