Kosovo shows solidarity with Croatia after the recent earthquakes


The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, reacted after the earthquake that hit Croatia today, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and full solidarity with Croatia and the friendly Croatian people.

Minister Haradinaj-Stublla has stated that Kosovo strongly stands by Croatia in this difficult time for the Croatian people and the affected citizens there, and is ready to offer its assistance for whatever is deemed necessary at the moment.

The Kosovo Chief Diplomat said that she, like all the people of Kosovo, is deeply saddened and shocked by the news of the recurrence of earthquakes in Croatia, and the consequences of the natural disasters of the last two days there.

"As institutions and as a nation, we express our deep solidarity with the citizens of Croatia, express our condolences to the families of the victims, pray for the quick recovery of the injured, and hope that there will be as few other consequences as possible", reads the reaction of Minister Haradinaj-Stublla who, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora and of the Government of Kosovo, has expressed full readiness for any assistance that Kosovo can offer at this time.
