The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs Donika Gervalla, received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Sweden in Kosovo, Mrs Karin Hernmarck.
Minister Gervalla thanked the Ambassador for the continued cooperation and assistance that Sweden has provided to Kosovo throughout state-building. She praised the relations between the two countries as excellent.
During the meeting it was discussed on Kosovo's path towards the European Union, especially for the implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, as well as the visa liberalization process for Kosovo.
Regarding the European agenda in general, Ambassador Hernmarck expressed her country's commitment to support important processes for the citizens of Kosovo.
The commitments to be made for Kosovo's membership in international organizations were also discussed.
Meanwhile, pandemic management is seen as a priority, and Minister Gervalla underlined the need for assistance, so that the citizens of Kosovo can be vaccinated as soon as possible.
