In the light of bilateral meetings on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Mrs. Donika Gërvalla met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Malta, Mr. Evarist Bartolo.
During this meeting, the parties assessed that the relations between the two countries are very good and stressed the need to advance bilateral cooperation in areas of interest such as: economy, education and culture.
Minister Gërvalla informed Minister Bartolo about the commitment of the new Government of Kosovo, which is to create a suitable environment for foreign investors.
"We are very committed to strengthening law and order as a precondition for attracting foreign investments and as an opportunity to create new jobs. Therefore, in Kosovo, foreign businesses can find very suitable conditions for investment", she added.
Minister Gërvalla also thanked her counterpart from Malta on the support of his country in Kosovo's efforts to strengthen international subjectivity and the path to European integration.
In this regard, she received the reconfirmation of the Chief Diplomat of Malta that this support will continue further.
