At the level of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Mrs. Donika Gërvalla, met today with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Mr. Shahriar Alam.
Together they praised the excellent relations between the two countries and talked about the possibility of deepening bilateral cooperation.
The focus was on economic and trade cooperation and the creation of opportunities for the business communities of both countries for cooperation.
Gërvalla emphasized that the priority of the Government of Kosovo, in addition to strengthening the international subjectivity of Kosovo is the attraction of foreign investors and the creation of new jobs and informed Minister Alam that Kosovo offers a very favorable environment to do business.
"In addition to having a favoring tax system for investors, we also have a trained workforce and above all we are a country with a very convenient geographical position. "These and many other elements make Kosovo a suitable and safe place for investors," she added.
On his part, Minister Alam expressed readiness for bilateral cooperation and also stressed that Bangladesh will continue its support for Kosovo.
