President Osmani thanked the US senators for the support that the US has given and is giving to our country and emphasized that the relations with this friendly country are existential and strategic. She assessed that Kosovo is a successful example of American support.

Furthermore, President Osmani informed the US senators about Kosovo's effort for comprehensive reforms, which specifically aim to strengthen the rule of law and creating a favorable environment for foreign investment.

In this meeting, the President emphasized that the inciting discourse from Serbia is a source of destabilization in the region, as are the Russian tendencies to extend the negative influence in the region. She stressed that this influence aims to undo the achievements of the US, EU and NATO in the region regarding peace, stability, democracy and the rule of law.

The senators thanked Kosovo for receiving Afghan refugees and carrying out the first peacekeeping mission abroad of KSF soldiers alongside the US Army in Kuwait, thus reaffirming the strong partnership between Kosovo and the United States and its contribution to world peace and security.
