Kosova’s Culture Week aboard is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD) and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS) to showcase the artistic talent and potential of Kosova on the international stage.

By promoting the cultural identity of Kosova abroad, we intend to foster connections between artists from Kosova, the diaspora, and those in the host countries. The first-ever Kosova Cultural Week abroad is set to take place in Portugal from the 19th to the 24th of March, 2023. This exciting week consists of events that will celebrate Kosova’s rich cultural identity and diverse art forms.

Over five days, we will present several events introducing the Portuguese public to Kosova’s art and talent. The events will take place in Lisbon, Braga, and Porto and will encompass various art forms, including music, film, visual arts, books, and gastronomy. Our objective is to offer the Portuguese public a unique experience and enjoy the richness and diversity of Kosova’s cultural and artistic scene. We cordially invite everyone to celebrate Kosova’s rich cultural heritage during the Kosova Cultural Week abroad. This event promises to be a memorable experience highlighting Kosova’s artistic talent and cultural identity. Art can unite people, foster understanding and empathy, and promote peace and cooperation between countries. We believe these events will strengthen the cultural bonds between our two countries and pave the way for further collaboration.
