A terrorist attack carried out by Serbia’s criminal groups killed a Kosova police officer in the line of duty, while injuring two others in the northern municipality of Zveçan in Republic of Kosova. This constitutes a direct assault on Kosova’s sovereignty and security.

We urge our international partners to condemn today’s terrorist attacks and Serbia’s destabilizing attempts in Kosova and the region in the strongest possible terms.

As we grieve the loss of our fallen officer, we reaffirm our commitment to upholding the rule of law and security on our entire territory. Serbia’s support of violence and terrorism represents a flagrant violation of both our national security and international laws, principles, and values.
